October Highlights - Celebrating Art, Community, and Collaboration
Hello Friends,
October flew by in a whirlwind of community, creativity, and collaboration!
Here’s a recap of what’s been happening at Kimberly Cho Studios this past month.
We Run Bayview: Supporting Bayview-Hunters Point
This October, I was thrilled to be part of the We Run Bayview event, an initiative centered on uplifting and empowering the Bayview-Hunters Point community. My role involved designing a bold and energetic visual identity for the event, from brand elements to collateral. This project holds a special place in my heart, and I’m so proud of the vibrant visuals that helped bring this event to life! Check out the full case study for more behind-the-scenes insights on this exciting collaboration.
Launching the EVOKE Social Media Toolkit
In an exciting new partnership, I teamed up with Martin Ricard from Community Symbol to create the EVOKE Social Media Toolkit. This Canva-based toolkit is tailored for social justice-focused marketing managers who want to amplify their messages effectively. Our goal? To empower these leaders with accessible design tools that help their voices resonate across social platforms.
Artists I’m Loving Right Now
In the spirit of inspiration, here are a few artists whose work has been sparking my creativity this month:
Jake Kontou (@jakekontou) - center
Philip Hua (@philliphua) - right
Thank you for being a part of the journey! I can’t wait to share what’s coming up in November.
