September Highlights: Exciting Milestones, New Collaborations, and Inspiring Artists!

Hey there!

September was a busy month, and I’m excited to share some of the latest highlights with you.

Lucky Day Case Study – Now Live!
We’re thrilled to announce that the Lucky Day case study is officially up. Lucky Day is a dynamic company, and we’re celebrating their incredible success on Kickstarter, where they were fully funded in just 11 days! Not only that, but they were also featured by Kickstarter—major kudos to the entire team for their hard work!

Tabling at Sketch the Block
I recently had the pleasure of tabling at Sketch the Block, part of the 2 Blocks of SF initiative, which focuses on revitalizing the city. It was an unforgettable experience! We set up our booth in what used to be a Chase bank on 1201 Market Street, and believe it or not, we even stored our art in the old bank vault overnight. The energy was amazing, meeting old friends and new, and it was great to be part of this unique event.

Welcome, Diana Wei Fang of The Finer Points Co.!
I’m excited to announce a new client—Diana Wei Fang of The Finer Points Co. Diana has been instrumental in getting my project workflows up and running on Honeybook. Now, I’m thrilled to be working alongside her, supporting her diverse clientele as one of her designers. It’s been a great collaboration so far, and I’m looking forward to what’s next!

Artists I’m Loving Right Now
I’m a firm believer in learning from and being inspired by other amazing artists. Here are a few I’ve been following and highly recommend checking out:

What I’m Watching: Over the Garden Wall
As spooky season is fast approaching, it was time to revisit an old Cartoon Network favorite: Over the Garden Wall. It’s Grimm’s fairy tale inspired story of two brothers getting lost in a dark, enchanted wood is the perfect amount of spooky, strange, and fun that I can’t help but come back to every fall.

That’s all for now, but stay tuned for more updates in the coming months. Wishing you all a creative and productive October!

Warmly,
Kim
